I truly believe that yoga is for all shapes and sizes, all abilities and ages. When I started yoga over 15 years ago, I could barely touch my toes! Since then, I learned to love my body and work with its restrictions. It taught me to be stronger and more flexible in both body and mind and I gained breath and relaxation techniques to help unwind and to deal with the constant stresses life can present.
I decided to become a teacher to bring this amazing practice to as many people as possible, plus deepening my own knowledge. I qualified with Yoga Therapy Ireland in 2015 with a 500hr Yoga Alliance RTY, also receiving a TYI Certificate in Yoga for Sport and I am an experience Mindfulness coach. thoroughly enjoy teaching a well-rounded class, primarily Hatha focused with elements of Vinyasa Flow and Yin. My passion is seeing people develop and grow in confidence through yoga.
My primary concern is to ensure safety for the beginner, learning correct alignment and providing adaptations to suit anyone’s body and ability. Students will progress at their own pace, building each week from wherever they start. I aim to give you and enjoyable, relaxed and relaxed atmosphere in class. Having studied with Lisa for many years, I want to emulate the ethos of a warm, welcoming environment and yet ensuring to challenge each person to be their very best.
