It is a science based Yoga which works on all the systems of the body: digestive, circulatory, nervous, immune, urinary, endocrine, lymphatic, muscular, reproductive and respiratory, all the organs of the body and all the subtle aspects of the body.

It works directly on the total energy of the body through the use of movement co-ordinated with breath, mantra (chanting), mudra (hand positions).

It helps to create a clear and focused mind, reduce anxiety and stress, balance emotions, feel amazing and brings a state of clarity and calm to the mind and a feeling of elevation and expansion.

The focus of Kundalini Yoga, is on ‘Self-Awareness’ and delivering an experience of your highest consciousness.

It’s technology is a science of the mind and body to elevate the spirit which has no boundaries – it is universal – it is a Yoga for everyone.

What to expect during a Kundalini Yoga Class:

Breathing with awareness

– you will learn to breath to re  types of breathwork are used to produce different effects on the body and mind

Movement, Stretching, Excercises (Kriya)  with various breathing techniques and eye focus

Chanting – using the voice to create calming affect on the mind

Meditation – every week you will experience a new meditation to support the energy or focus for that class

Relaxation – with a mix of all of the elements above you will easily fall into deep relaxation

Lots of fun – a well known feature of every good Kundalini Yoga class, because life’s too short to take yourself so seriously.

Classes are for all levels – beginners welcome too.
